Senior Web Developer
- Tests, develops, and implements Microsoft.NET and PHP applications that interface with Microsoft SQL and MySQL databases for global operations. Provide training on applications developed to employees and contractors around the world.
- Created custom reports using PHP and Microsoft SQL to benefit all departments of the company worldwide. Created a Customer Interface web application for our customers around the world to be able to open service calls, order parts, and update work orders as necessary. Created a web application for our service partners to be able to update work orders, and upload Purchase Orders. Worked with a team to convert our legacy applications into web-based applications customized for every department in the company.
- Primary support for our QuickBooks Enterprise software on the server and end-user support of this application. Supported end users on Microsoft Office 365 including the Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Also supported the mail server and other administration tasks using Microsoft Office 365.
- Helped manage Windows Active Directory environment running on Windows 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2008 servers with Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktops. Also helped manage TrendMicro Antivirus Corporate for server and desktop antivirus installations.
- Setup and supported a fully redundant disaster recovery backup and restore system that was replicated across Houston, TX, Macon, GA, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. This process also contained setup and support for virtual servers using Xenserver and testing using Hyper-V virtualization technologies. Proficient in using Synology rack stations to create the redundant network data storage and customer monitoring systems.
- Locally supported large data centers located throughout the state of Georgia. Support required the break/fix of Dell, HP, and IBM servers along with NetAPP storage devices.
